MOIST POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. milk
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
3 c. plain flour, sifted once, then measure

Cream sugar, Crisco, and butter together 10-15 minutes to ensure fluffiness. Add eggs, one at a time, to sugar mix. Beat after each egg. Add flour and milk alternately. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

GLAZE:

1/2 stick butter
Juice of 1 lemon
1 c. or less powdered sugar

Mix together and pour over warm cake. Punch holes in top of cake with toothpick.
