SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
24 oysters
3 tbsp. heavy cream
1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
5 tbsp. oyster liquid
3/4 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter

Melt butter, add crackers and bread crumbs and mix. Put a layer of crumbs in bottom of baking dish. Over this, add 1 layer of oysters and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add another layer of crumbs. Add second layer of oysters, salt and pepper.

Mix cream, oyster liquid, and Worcestershire sauce and pour over oysters. Add last layer of crumbs, dot with butter. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Never use more than 2 layers of oysters.
