HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
3 lbs. potatoes
6 slices bacon
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar

Pare potatoes. Heat 1 inch salted water to boiling. Cook potatoes 30-35 minutes until tender. Drain; set aside.

In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove and drain. Cook onion in drippings until golden. Stir in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Add liquids and boil 1 minute. Crumble bacon. Slice (or cube) potatoes and stir all together. Heat through. 5-6 servings.
