HOT PEPPER RELISH 
1/2 bushel hot banana peppers
14 green tomatoes
12 med. onions

Grind or chop above ingredients. Drain and cover with 1/2 cup salt and boiling water for 1 hour.

Bring to boil:

8 c. sugar
8 c. cider vinegar
1 heaping tbsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric

Drain pepper mixture well. Put in vinegar mixture all chopped ingredients. Boil 2 minutes. Put in hot jars and seal. 14 pints.
