1 (14 oz.) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 (4-serving size) pkg. instant vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling mix
2 c. Cool Whip (I add a little more)
Vanilla wafers
1 qt. or more of sliced or halved fresh strawberries
3/4 c. Nestle's Little Bits Semi-Sweet chocolate (I use a few more)

In large bowl, combine Eagle Brand and water. Add pudding mix. Beat well. Chill 5 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon 2 cups pudding into 3-quart glass serving bowl. Spread with layer of vanilla wafers, strawberries, chocolate chips. Add remaining pudding. Repeat vanilla wafers, strawberries, and chocolate chips. I try to save a little pudding to put on top. Chill thoroughly.
