AUNT ANNIE'S COCONUT MACAROONS 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. coconut, shredded
4 drops almond flavoring
2 c. corn flakes

Beat egg whites and salt until stiff but not dry. Add sugar, beat thoroughly. Fold in the coconut and corn flakes which have been crushed after measuring. Add flavoring. Drop by teaspoon on buttered cookie sheet. Bake in moderate 300 degree oven until lightly browned and well set for about 20 to 25 minutes.
