FRENCH COCONUT MACAROONS 
4 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. confectioners sugar
2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Beat egg whites with electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla; mix well. Add sugar gradually; beat well after each addition. Beat until stiff and glossy. Fold in coconut, flour; mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto buttered and floured cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven (325 degrees) 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 2 dozen.
