SZECHVAN GREEN BEANS 
6 cloves garlic, mashed
2 qurater size pieces of ginger
2 scallions (2 inch length)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tsp. hot pepper flakes
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbs. rice vinegar
1 lb. beans, trimmed

Place garlic, ginger and scallions in food processor until finely chopped. Put in 14 x 11 x 2 inch dish. Add oil and pepper flakes; microwave uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook uncovered 15 minutes (on high). Stir 4 to 5 times. Serve hot or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
