BANANA NUT CAKE 
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients 3 times. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat until creamy. Then add bananas. Slowly add dry ingredients, milk, vanilla, then nuts. Pour into 2 round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
