BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 stick butter
1 to 2 tbsp. sugar, to taste
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
3 to 4 bananas, sliced
1 lg. container "Cool Whip"
Maraschino cherries, halves

Melt butter and blend with graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Pat in the bottom of 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 pan.

Prepare pudding according to package directions. Pour over graham cracker crust. Layer sliced bananas on top of pudding; then spread the drained pineapple over the bananas. Top with the "Cool Whip", cherries and nuts. Chill well before serving.
