TURTLE CAKE 
German chocolate cake mix
2 pkgs. caramel candies
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1/2 c. milk
Greased & floured Pyrex pan

Make cake according to directions but ONLY pour 1/2 in greased pan and bake 10 to 15 minutes (use long Pyrex pan). Melt caramel in 1/2 cup milk (stir constantly).

Take cake out and layer nuts. Pour caramel over it, then sprinkle chips on top. Pour rest of cake mix batter on top and bake 15 to 20 more minutes. Thoroughly let cool before cutting squares.
