1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg whites
1 baked pie shell
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks together. Heat butter and milk and when warm, add dry ingredients. Cook until it thickens. Add vanilla and coconut. Beat egg whites. Add 2 tablespoons sugar - spread this on pie and add more coconut. Brown in oven.
