COLD OVEN POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Add flour; fold in whipping cream. Add flavoring. Put in cold oven. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
