1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and spread in an 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle over batter a mixture of 1 cup brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Pour 1 3/4 cup hot water over top. Bake for 35 minutes and cool. Serve with whipped topping.
