LIGHT APPLE - PIE CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tsp. cinnamon 2 1/2 c. diced apples 1 egg white 2 tbsp. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. flour Mix all ingredients, adding apples and nuts last. Pour into a 9 inch greased (I use Pam) pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cut as pie. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. (I use low-cal Cool Whip.) |
