SCALLOP AND SHRIMP WITH
SPAGHETTI
 
1 lb. scallops, fresh or frozen
1/2 lb. shrimp, fresh or frozen
2 c. pea pods
1/2 c. sliced green onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. olive oil
10 oz. linguine
3 tbsp. grated cheese
3 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/4 c. oil packed sundried tomatoes, cut in strips or fresh chopped tomato

Cut scallops in half, devein shrimp; set aside. Cut pea pods in half. Cook onion and garlic in hot oil and butter for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, scallops, parsley, basil and red pepper. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until shrimp and scallops are cooked. Add pea pods and tomatoes, drained. Cook 2 more minutes. Toss mixture in cooked and drained linguine. Place on platter. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
