MOLASSES RAISIN COOKIES 
3 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, molasses and buttermilk. Mix together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix together raisins and nuts with just enough flour to mix. Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Yields 5 dozen.
