EASY SPICED PEACHES 
2 lg. cans yellow cling peach halves
1/2 c. vinegar
2 (3 inch) sticks cinnamon
1/4 tsp. whole allspice
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. whole cloves

Drain syrup from peaches. Combine syrup with vinegar, sugar and spices. Boil 5 minutes. Add peach halves and simmer 5 minutes.; Cool in covered container and put in refrigerator at least 24 hours. Serve on watercress with the following orange-mayonnaise dressing or just plain with lamb, pork or roast chicken.

DRESSING:

3 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. orange marmalade
Dash of milk or cream

Mix together mayonnaise, milk and marmalade and serve over peaches.
