BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. bananas, crushed
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and crushed bananas. Mix flour, salt and baking soda. Add to above then pour into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Turn down oven temperature to 325°F and bake for 30 minutes.
