KAYE'S YEAST ROLLS 
1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg (room temp.)
1 tsp. salt
4 c. bread flour

Mix water and yeast. Add 1/3 cup sugar. Next add 1/2 cup Crisco, mix well. Fold in egg and salt. Next add 2 cups bread flour, mixing well. Mix in the remaining 2 cups of flour and let rise for 2-3 hours. After this, punch down dough and make rolls. Place on pan and let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-12 minutes.
