MEXICAN STEW 
2 c. cooked beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic, chopped
5 med. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/4 c. water
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder

Fry cubed beef in hot fat in skillet until browned. Add onion, green pepper, celery, and garlic; cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients; reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour into serving dish and top with mashed potatoes if desired.
