PRETZEL SALAD 
CRUST:

1 1/2 c. pretzels, crushed real fine
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter

Melt butter. Add sugar and pretzels. Press firmly into 13"x9" pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

LAYER 1:
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 c. sugar

Cream together cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Spread on cooled crust.

LAYER 2:
1 lg. strawberry Jello
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen sweetened strawberries

Mix Jello with 2 cups boiling water. After dissolved, add 1/2 cup cold water and thawed strawberries. Let this partially jell and then pour on top of Layer 1. Refrigerate until firm. Great to serve as a salad or a dessert. Serves 20 to 24 people.
