SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
1 med. head cabbage, cut
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. grated cheese
Salt to taste

Cook cabbage in salt water until tender. Drain well. (If pepper is used, saute' in butter.) Add flour and mix well. Slowly add milk, stirring until thick sauce. Add cheese and then pour over cabbage in casserole. Cover with buttered crumbs. Brown in 350 degree oven.
