CARROT CAKE | |
2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 3 c. grated carrots 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. corn oil 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda Mix all dry ingredients together. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; blend well. Bake in three 9 inch pans or one 13 x 9 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. KILLER FROSTING: (If you like): 1 c. chopped pecans 1 box powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla I put minced pecans in cake instead. |
