VEGETABLE CHOWDER 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 env. chicken, beef or onion bouillon cubes
1/2 c. sliced celery and celery tops
1/2 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. chopped mixed vegetables (green beans, spinach and zucchini)
1 med. tomato, diced
1 tbsp. fresh minced parsley
1 tsp. onion flakes
1/4 tsp. clove garlic
1/4 tsp. bay leaf
Salt
Pepper

In a large soup kettle, combine all ingredients. Simmer covered for 50 minutes. (If you use the fresh bay leaf, remove before serving.) One serving in a large soup bowl.
