CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
8 tbsp. melted butter
6 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 lb. powdered sugar
Maraschino cherries
1 sq. paraffin wax
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Blend together butter, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Add powdered sugar. Knead and form into balls. Put a maraschino cherry inside each ball. Set in freezer for 1 hour. Melt together paraffin wax and chocolate chips in top of double boiler. Dip cold cherries in chocoalte and drop on wax paper. Makes about 125 chocolate covered cherries.
