CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding (3 1/2 oz.)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine flour and soda; set aside. Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs, gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.)

Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-9 1/2 minutes. (May use butterscotch chips with butterscotch pudding or chocolate pudding with peanut butter chips.)
