PECAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
2 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (24 oz.) pkg. 4 c.) Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In bowl, combine butter and brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and pecans. Drop by well rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow to stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheets; cool. Makes about 3 dozen 2 1/2" cookies.
