SWEET LEMON TEA BREAD 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Add rind and juice of 2 lemons

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Add alternately flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Add rind and juice of lemons. Bake in 2 greased pans at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

While hot heat juice of 2 lemons and 1/2 cup sugar until sugar dissolved. Pour over loaves.
