“STRATA DI PIZZA” IS IN:

STRATA DI PIZZA 
4 eggs
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
8 slices white bread, divided
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded mozzarella, divided
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

In medium bowl with fork or whisk, beat eggs just till blended. Beat in tomato sauce, water, oregano, basil, salt & garlic powder; set aside.

In greased 8 or 9-inch square baking dish, arrange 4 slices bread. Evenly pour on half the tomato mixture; sprinkle with half the mozzarella. Repeat layers, sprinkle top with Parmesan and cover; let stand about 1 hour, or chill overnight. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 min. till puffed and browned. Serve.
