HORNS OF PLENTY 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter

Mix together like pie crust. 5 tbsp. water 2 egg yolks, beaten

Mix together; then mix the first mixture with the second mixture using fork.

FILLING:

2 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
Cinnamon
Chopped pecans

Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar while beating.

Form dough into a ball; divide ball into 4 parts. Roll out into 9-inch circle; spread 1/4 of the egg white mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts. Cut in 8 pie- shaped wedges; roll dough up starting with wide end.

Bake on sheet pan at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Frost while warm.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. hot water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

This makes 32 horns.
