KAREN'S YEAST HORNS 
1 cake yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt

Dissolve sugar and yeast in the warm water. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture (flour, butter and salt). Add 2 slightly beaten egg yolks to all ingredients. Divide dough in 4 parts and roll out like pie crust. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Spread this on dough. Cut in 12 parts and roll towards center to make horn. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
