1 c. butter (softened)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. M & M's for the particular holiday - plain, almond or peanut

Cream butter with sugars, eggs and vanilla. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, soda and blend into creamed mixture. Stir in M & M's. Drop by teaspoon full onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 8-10 minutes.
