LITTLE OPEN FACE SANDWICHES | |
2 c. Cheddar cheese 1/4 cube butter 1 egg Salt, pepper, paprika Bacon, bread Beat egg. Add grated cheese, salt, pepper and paprika to taste. Melt butter and pour over cheese mixture. Stir well. Cut crusts off of bread slices. Spread cheese generously on bread. Cut each slice in fourths. Cover each piece with a square of bacon. Place on broiler rack and cook in top oven at 375 degrees until bacon is crisp, bread toasted and cheese melted. (Be sure to put broiler pan under the rack.) |
