PENNE PASTA WITH PROSCUIT CREME
SAUCE
 
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
4 oz. proscuitto, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
2 sm. cans Del Monte stewed tomatoes (with garlic, oregano, basil spices)
1/2 c. peas
1 c. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese

Sauté first 4 ingredients. Add stewed tomatoes, peas. Cook for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream and pepper.

Pour over cooked penne pasta and serve with Parmesan cheese.
