MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 c. onions, chopped

Combine ingredients thoroughly. Shape in loaf (8 x 4 x 1 1/2 inches) in lightly greased shallow baking pan. Brush top with additional 57 Sauce, if desired. Bake in 350 degree oven, 1 hour. Allow meat loaf to stand 5 minutes before slicing. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
