MAPLE WALNUT PIE 
1 (9 inch) shell, baked & cooled
1/2 c. eggs (2 or 3)
1 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) melted butter
3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine eggs, maple syrup and butter. Add walnuts and put into the pie shell. Place the assembled pie on a baking sheet and bake until only the center inch of the pie wiggles when gently bumped (about 45 minutes).
