COWBOY CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda and salt
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
1 (8 oz.) can cream style corn
1 chopped onion
12 or 14 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp. chopped pimento

Combine first 4 ingredients, mix well, add milk, eggs, and vegetable oil and stir well. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour into greased square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.
