SWEDISH POUND CAKE 
5 lg. eggs
1 lb. butter
1 box 4xxx confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 bottle maraschino cherries
3 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. pecans

Drain and dredge in flour. Chop coarsely.

Cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour, small amounts, blending well after each addition. Add vanilla, nuts and cherries. Blend.

Bake in LARGE tube pan (greased and floured) at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
