1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix (white or yellow)
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
1 can mandarin oranges (use juice for cake batter)

Mix for 2 minutes. Add oranges. Bake at 325 degrees in 3 layer cake pans for 25 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. Angle Flake Coconut
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple (use pineapple juice for pudding)
1 lg. Cool Whip (9 oz.)

Mix pudding, crushed pineapple and coconut. Fold in Cool Whip and frost cake layers and top.
