1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
1/2 c. Crisco oil, butter
4 eggs
11 oz. can mandarin orange slices, juice and all, mashed

Mix all ingredients together well. Pour into greased and floured layer cake pans. Make 3 layers. Bake at 350 degrees until done.

TOPPING:

1 (3 oz.) Pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix (dry)
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip topping
1 lg. can crushed pineapple and juice

Mix all ingredients; spread on cake layers, tops and sides. Refrigerate.
