1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream first 3 ingredients. Add flour and cinnamon. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press flat with glass first dipped in butter and then in granulated sugar. Brush with beaten egg white. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
