SKILLET PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN
CAKE
 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix, prepared according to pkg. directions
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 can pineapple rings
Maraschino cherries

On top of stove, melt butter in large oven proof skillet (iron). Add brown sugar until it forms a loose paste. Remove from heat and arrange pineapple rings in bottom of pan. Put 1 or 1/2 a maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring. Pour in prepared cake mix. Bake in skillet in oven at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until cake tests done with wooden toothpick.
