CREME DE MENTHE BROWNIES 
FIRST LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

MIDDLE LAYER:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. green creme de menthe

GLAZE:

1 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

First Layer: Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and other ingredients in order given. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.

Middle Layer: Combine powdered sugar, butter and green creme de menthe. Spread over cooled brownies. Chill.

Glaze: Melt chocolate chips with butter in a saucepan or microwave. Let mixture cool until it will spread easily. Spread over brownies. Chill and cut into squares. Freezes well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
