ROQUEFORT DRESSING | |
1 (3 oz.) wedge Roquefort cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 c. mayonnaise Juice of 1 lemon 2 tsp. soy sauce 1 egg 1/4 tsp. each of mixed salad herbs, salt, coarse ground pepper, and garlic powder Chives to taste Drop all ingredients except chives into a medium size mixing bowl in the order given, crumbling cheese with the fingers. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Top with chopped chives. Store in the refrigerator. This dressing may be thinned to desired consistency with half and half, but it usually done not require thinning. There is enough liquid already present. If thinned too much, the dressing will lose the rich and full-bodied quality. |
