SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
2 - 4 (1/2 pt.) oysters or minced clams
1 box cracker meal
1 pt. all purpose cream
butter

In 9 x 11 inch glass dish place layer of cracker meal on bottom of dish, layer of clams or oysters, cracker meal; repeat layers ending with cracker meal. Pour cream over top (might not need whole pint). Cover with dabs of butter, salt and pepper. Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
