BUTTERNUT SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 butternut squash (2 lb.), peeled & cubed
2 apples, peeled & sliced
1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. mace
2-3 tbsp. flour
Nuts & cranberries (opt.)

Toss flour and mace and brown sugar over mixed apples and squash. Pour butter over and bake at 350 degrees until tender, 30 to 40 minutes.
