AUTUMN BUTTERNUT CASSEROLE 
3 c. mashed butternut squash
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Mix together. 1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Cover and simmer in skillet until tender. Spread apples in 3 quart casserole. Spread squash mixture over apples.

Mix and sprinkle over squash: 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. melted butter

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
