DOG BISCUIT COOKIES (FOR DOGS
AND CATS)
 
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. rye flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 c. cracked wheat or wheat germ
1/2 c. powdered nonfat dry milk
1 tbsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. (or more) chicken or beef stock

Mix all ingredients together. Roll out the dough. It will be sticky. Cut dough into desired shape with cookie cutters. Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with a coating mixture of 1 beaten egg and a dash of milk. Bake at 300 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Shorten baking time for softer cookies. Keep refrigerated.
