OATMEAL COOKIES 
2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. cooked raisins
4 tbsp. juice from raisins
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. Mothers Oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
Little salt

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Simmer raisins and use 4 tablespoons juice in creamed mixture. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
